It is very important to do everything that your doctor and physical therapist tell you to do including your exercises. If you do, decrease the range of motion until you no longer feel the pain. Your goal is to feel a light stretch at the end range of motion points. This will help reduce pain and swelling while increasing your range of motion.

I loved the CPM machine. After a TKR it is very important to rehab the knee. I used the machine every day after a rehab session to help hold onto any gains I experienced during rehab. I would ice the knee and then jump onto the CPM and watch a movie. It felt great!! Highly recommended!! Originally reviewed 5-5-2014.
